Her duties include analysis of social media and web reporting, market and program opportunity assessments, campaign metrics, and competitor analysis.

In addition, Nikki performs research to better understand the various stakeholders that consume messaging from Strategic Communications. Nikki’s goal is to give campus communicators the insights they need to empathetically create relevant and impactful content for the university’s audiences.

Nikki’s career background includes market research of policymakers and workers in the public sector, as well as customers of the insurance and telecommunication industries. She received her master’s degree in business administration at the University of Colorado, Denver. Nikki holds a bachelor’s degree in sociocultural anthropology from the University of California, San Diego.

Nikki is a native of California’s Central Coast. She grew up in a small community surrounded by agricultural fields and where nature was always a short trek away. When Nikki moved to Yolo County, she felt right at home. She loves exploring the outdoors with her husband and her two less-than-well-behaved dogs. Nikki loves to read (when she gets the time) and enjoys all things history and anthropology.
