Radio might seem like an unexpected medium for a visual artist. For Andre, it was an instant hit. He got hired as the first dedicated graphic designer for KDND 107.9 The End. Within six months, he found himself working with the cluster of six sister stations, all with different audiences. What had started as a job became a passion and way of life. 

Andre moved on to television, handling on-air graphics for the KTXL FOX40 evening news, continually building new skills and taking on new responsibilities. He later designed and animated snipes, commercials and program lineups.

Andre later pivoted back to radio as graphic designer for Entercom San Francisco’s five-station radio group. Following a corporate merger and subsequent layoffs, Andre found himself designing award-winning work at a young Sacramento ad agency.

Now, Andre brings all of his passion, skills, and versatility to help shepherd the UC Davis brand to new and exciting places.
