- Visual Communications
As a photographer, Gregory does a great amount of walking, waiting and hoping that happenstance and providence bring him to a location where mellifluous moments of visual architecture and truth coalesce to make a moment of authentic meaning.
He has photographed various subjects in Thailand, France, Guam, Japan, Saipan, South Korea, Canada and several states in the Union.
Gregory received an associate of science degree in fire science and a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State in journalism with a photographic emphasis. He has won numerous photographic awards from the California Press Photographer Association, San Francisco Bay Area Photographers Association and the California Newspaper Publishers Association.
His work for the Pulitzer News Group, Knight-Ridder News Group and Bay Area News Group had him covering news locally and nationally, everything from marriage to murder.
