Bio

José Vadi is a Writer and Content Producer newly relocated to Sacramento after many years in the Bay Area.

José has helped launch new brands, initiatives and collaborative projects with the likes of the world's largest corporations to grassroots non-profits. José was the Creative Lead of Adobe Project 1324, a youth initiative that featured collaborations across Adobe'e product teams and with partners like the Sundance Film Festival, Smithsonian, Born this Way Foundation and more.

José was a writer for AllStripes (now PicnicHealth), the leading research platform dedicated to rare disease and launched the brand's podcast and nonfiction storytelling initiatives. He was a guest producer of Pop-Up Magazine's "Stories for Hispanic Heritage Month" issue, produced remotely during the pandemic. Previously, José launched the Off/Page Project, a collaboration between the Center for Investigative Reporting and the literary nonprofit Youth Speaks, featuring short poetry and long form documentary films, live plays, events and youth-driven storytelling.

José is also a creative writer and performer with over 20 years of artistic experience. He is the author of Inter State: Essays from California (2021) and Chipped: Writing from a Skateboarder's Lens (2024), which was nominated for a Golden Poppy Award.
