Ashley Chang (she/her) is pursuing a B.A. in Design and Communication (double major). Before joining STREAM, Ashley was a marketing intern at a property management company, curating social media reports and analyzing performance metrics. She also has experience in photography and creating graphics. After graduation, Ashley hopes to pursue a career in UX/UI design. For as long as can remember, she has always had an interest in a field that mixes art and technology. 

As a STREAM intern, Ashley has participated in a variety of projects including GIF and our website design project. The GIF project is responsible for creating gifs that are available for newly admitted UC Davis aggies. 

Ashley is from Orange County, CA and chose UC Davis because it is the only UC that offers Design solely as a major. Her favorite part of campus is the MU Quad because it is a great place to lay down, take a nap, and soak in some sun. 

A fun fact about Ashley is one that she is able to lick her elbow! In her free time, Ashley enjoys reading, cooking in an attempt to replicate her grandma’s cooking, and browsing the baked goods at the Davis farmer’s market. Her favorite movie is Howl’s Moving Castle. You can catch Ashley spending most of her time in the main reading room of the Shields Library, studying and doing her homework in the natural light.
