About STREAM
As part of UC Davis’ Strategic Communications Social Media team, STREAM is a cohort of students who assist with creating, developing, editing, and distributing social media content across all official UC Davis social media channels. STREAM is our creative powerhouse of interns who produce content for students. They aim to demonstrate the inclusivity, representation, and diversity at one of the top ranked public institutions in the country.
Our team values and respects each other's differences, prioritizes inclusive storytelling, protects relationships over product, and embraces feedback with all intent to better ourselves as representatives of the UC Davis community. Each of our STREAMers bring their own unique skills and talents that contribute to expanding the UC Davis social media presence. History of STREAM
Why STREAM? The first cohort of the street team came up with the idea of branding themselves as STREAM which is a combination of the words street and team. This creative play on words has given them a recognizable identity within the UC Davis student community. As current students of UC Davis, the team centers the student experience in social media content by keeping UC Davis #AlwaysCurrent whether it’s covering on campus events, tapping into popular trends or keeping their fellow students informed.
