Meghan Fredericksen (she/her) is pursuing a B.A. in Communication with a minor in Professional Writing. She ran the social media accounts of various organizations she’s been a part of since high school and serves as a Communication officer for one of the largest student organizations at UC Davis. She wants to work in the field of Social Media management and/or Marketing/Advertising. Her goal is to make her work as meaningful as possible by doing communication work for a company that echoes an important message or stands for something bigger than itself. 

As an Undergraduate Admissions Social Media Intern, Meghan has worked to facilitate UC Davis’s connection with its student body through social media. She developed general content for both Undergraduate Admissions Instagram and UC Davis TikTok. Meghan has led the Women’s History Month student organization feature series, hosted several Tip Tuesdays, managed the official UC Davis discord server, and won a bronze EduAd Award for the creation of the UC Davis TikTok’s most viewed video to date. 

Hobbies I enjoy in my free time

I love to hike/camp with my friends in 'Outdoor Crew at UC Davis' on the weekends, rock climbing, and live music and seeing all my favorite artists in concert.

I would be an orca because I am fascinated by the ocean.
