Betsy Duong

Betsy is a second-year student double majoring in Economics and Communication. Since her time at UC Davis, Betsy has become involved in several communities. During her first year, she worked with UC Davis Athletics Communications to create content highlighting student-athletes and Aggie athletics. Before becoming a STREAM Intern, Betsy interned with the Port of San Francisco, where she gained experience in public relations and government affairs. This school year, she also serves as a Resident Advisor for first-year students, where she enjoys building community and helping students navigate their first year at UC Davis.

As a STREAM Intern, Betsy is excited to continue developing her skills in social media and strategic communications to create content that caters to the many different audiences within the UC Davis community. She hopes to continue using communications as a way to connect people, share stories, and give back to the communities she is a part of.
